Where traditional blind rivets work best in materials equal to or harder than themselves, tri-folding rivets like the RivetKing Tri-Fix line have been designed to work in materials softer than their own such as:
-Plastics, foils, vinyl, cloth and even foam
The large secondary head forms on the blind side of the application to provide extra support. An extremely wide grip range is also beneficial when holes are irregular or much larger than traditional drilled hole sizes.
