Information
Acument has developed a unique proprietary heat treat process for fasteners that results in induction hardened points capable of forming threads in HSLA materials. The process permits the forming threads to be hardened to HRC 53 minimum and retains the HRC 33-39 hardness in the noninduction hardened area for structural strength in joint applications.
